HB-TBK-D Shore D Test Block Kit

The HB-TBK-D Shore Hardness Test Block Kit with different values of hardness. As a reference check it will indicate if a durometer is operating within tolerances. The individual test blocks are provided with serial numbers to guarantee incontestable identification. The HB-TBK-D comes with a custom made carrying case.

This Shore Hardness Test Block kit will assist you in helping to maintain durometer read-out accuracy for science, manufacturing, research and development. The test kit consists of 3 test blocks.

The hardness values are ranging from approximately 16,34 and 62 durometer type D.

Place the durometer on the desired test block and press on it until its base reaches the surface. Read the measured value in accordance with the value on the test block.

As a reference check, it will indicate if a durometer is operating within tolerances. A durometer should never be calibrated with test blocks. The test block kit gives the user the ability to develop the proper "feel". The material from which the test blocks are made is fairly stable, however, it is strongly recommended that the calibration of the test blocks be performed annually.
