Corrosion Probe
Measures the wall thickness of materials such as steel, plastic and more. Ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes, or any structure where access is limited to one side
Multiple-Echo Probe
Features Thru-Paint capability to quickly and accurately measure the metal thickness of a painted structure without having to remove the coating. The most accurate method to measure the remaining wall thickness of a painted structure because it automatically disregards the coating, lowering inspection time and expense. Also ideal for measuring on sandblasted materials or other applications requiring a durable wear face.
Xtreme Corrosion Probe
The Xtreme Corrosion Probe (CX) is the ruggedized version of the standard Corrosion Probe (C), designed for inspectors working in harsh, abrasive, or high-use environments where probe cable durability is critical. It offers the same ultrasonic measurement performance, but adds a braided stainless steel cable and heavy-duty strain reliefs for improved resistance to wear, pulling, bending, and demanding field conditions.
Unlike the Multiple-Echo probe (M), the UTG CX does not measure through paint; its advantage over the standard Corrosion Probe is not a different measurement mode, but a more durable, field-ready probe construction.
