The G1024 and G1031 extension rods are used in situations where an attachment or grip cannot be used directly connected to a load cell, or mounting feature.
Both G1024 and G1031 come in three length sizes, 25,4 – 50,8 – 127 mm.
G1024 comes in a diameter of 6,4 mm with a #10-32F/M thread, with a capacity of 1000 N.
G1031 comes in a diameter of 12,7 mm and a 5/16-18F/M thread, with a capacity of 2500 N.
These extension rods are suitable for tension and compression testing however it is not recommended for compression applications as misalignment could result in buckling and damage to the force sensor.
