TI-25S Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge

The TI-25S Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge is no longer available and has been replaced by TI-25SX.
Click here to see the TI-25SX.

Made in the USAIf you reguarly have to test a limited selection different materials the TI-25S is the ideal product for you. It contains 8 velocities of the most common materials (see complete List of Materials below) and two velocities that the user can define by using a simple software program.

The TI-25S has an easy to read backlit display, even in dim light, and the unit operates for up to 200 hours on a single set of batteries.

The TI-25S comes complete, ready to use, and is protected by our 5 year limited warranty.

Velocity Settings
8 preset velocities and 2 custom velocities on the TI-25S allow the user to customize it for specific applications, or to tune the calibration to be optimized for a specific type of material. Each time the "MATL Key" is pressed the velocity will toggle from one to the next in a circular pattern.
The preset velocities are as follows:

  • 1. Aluminium 2024 (6375 m/s )
  • 2. Stainless Steel 303 (5664 m/s)
  • 3. Steel 4340 (5918 m/s)
  • 4. Cast Iron (4546 m/s)
  • 5. Plexiglass (2692 m/s)
  • 6. PVC (2387 m/s)
  • 7. Polystyrene (2337 m/s)
  • 8. Polyurethane (1778m/s)
  • 9. Custom 1
  • 10.Custom 2

Note: To define the Custom 1 & 2 options, the free PC software needs to be downloaded to the gauge using the optional data cable (p/n N-306-0010)

Features
  • Multi-function 4.5 digit liquid crystal display with 0.500 inch numerals, backlit for use in poor light conditions.
  • Measures from 0.025 to 6.000 inches (0.60 to 150.0 millimeters) switch to select English or metric units.
  • 8 pre-set velocities and 2 custom velocities
  • Measurements displayed in inches, nches/microsecond, millimeters, and meters/second.
  • Four readings per second for single point measurements
  • Ability to change between velocities without the use of computer software

10 User-Selected Material Types
Each time the "MATL" key is pressed, the material type (calibration setting of the acoustic velocity) changes from one type to the other. The abbreviations, description and sequence is shown below.

*Note: If the Custom 1 and 2 are needed, they are set using the PC software (free) and downloaded to gauge using the data cable (optional, p/n N-306-0010)
