The advanced digital Force/Torque indicator 5i advanced works in combination with a wide range of Mark-10 remote force and torque sensors. The entire calibration and configuration data is automatically saved within the sensor’s smart connector (not the indicator) with its Plug & TestTM technology, which ensures a real interchangeability.
The sensor is also password protected so that the use of an unauthorized sensor is avoided. All sensors are also perfectly compatible with the more basic 3i force/torque indicator.
Just like the Series 5 digital force gauges, the 5i comes with an identical menu structure and almost the same specifications:
A sampling rate of amazing 7,000 Hz, producing accurate results even for quick-action tests.
A backlit graphics LCD displaying large and legible characters
A simple menu navigation for quick access to the indicator’s many features and configurable parameters.
Data transfer to a PC or data collectors via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or alternatively analog outputs.
On-board data memory for up to 1,000 readings.
Statistical calculations with output to a PC.
Integrated set points with indicators and outputs (perfect for pass-fail testing and for triggering external devices such as alarms, relays, or test stands).
An analog load bar shown on the display for graphical representation of applied force or torque.
The 5i has a convenient averaging mode, which permits the recording of the average load over time. Furthermore, an external trigger mode provides the possibility to switch between activation testing in a simple and accurate way.
The well-known MESURTM Lite data acquisition software is also included in the 5i . MESURTM Lite processes and tabulates continuous or single point data. Data saved in the indicator’s memory can also be downloaded in bulk and also be easily exported to Excel in only “One-click”.
