The MiniTest 2500/4500 are our most recent additions to our coating thickness gauges range. The MiniTest 2500 is the basic version and the MiniTest 4500 represents the upper range version with extended functions.
The MiniTest 4500 is especially designed for high-precision non-destructive measurements and includes more elaborated functions such as advanced data storage, additional statistics and calibration functions and adjustable limits with audible/visual alarms. Furthermore the MiniTest 4500 has a USB interface for data transfer to a computer and a Bluetooth interface for transferring data to mobile devices such as smartphones or printers.
The MiniTest 2500/MiniTest 4500 coating thickness gauges are suitable for a variety of control and expert applications. They are classified as IP65 protection and come with a sturdy housing, making them convenient to use in numerous applications in the chemical, automotive and aerospace industry. Possible applications include outdoor applications as well as laboratory use, from deployment on constructions sites to electroplating plants and paint shops.
The MiniTest 4500 offers a large selection of sensors*, suitable for magnetically inductive ferrous substrates with non-magnetic layers, as well as eddy-current for non-ferrous metals with insulating coatings.
It is important to note that sensors from previous series such as the MiniTest 1100, 2100, 3100 and MiniTest 4100 can be reused with the MiniTest 4500 (though with adjustment of the measuring electronics) .
*Please note that the measuring range and measurement errors depend on the selection of the sensor.
